At The Talented X, we are stepping up our efforts in educating the black community on our history. Through enrichment and wellness programs, we will delve deep into our complex stories. From Africa to America, lies a wealth of inheritance and uniqueness. The Talented X will be sure to celebrate both attributes in the Pacific Northwest.

It was then, over 2 years after the Emancipation Proclamation, that the Black People of Texas were finally informed of their freedom for the first time.
